Moderator and Panelists
Dana Blum is the Bay Area Director for Common Sense, a national non-profit organization serving nearly 64 million users a year. Dana has the privilege of working with our public and private schools across the Bay Area, ensuring that kids, parents and educators understand how to access Common Sense' free programs, content, curriculums, research, ratings & reviews. She ensures that our kids, families and educators can harness the power of technology for life long learning and for good! Dana has worked in educational non-profits with a focus on building their regional and national footprints for the past six years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tulane University with dual degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Prior to her non-profit career, she helped start a parenting magazine and worked at Morgan Stanley and Lehmann Brothers in Sales and Trading. She is married to Robert Blum and they have two grown children living in the Bay Area.
Dana will be interviewing a panel of eight middle school students from Crystal Springs Uplands School, Castilleja School, Sacred Heart Prep Atherton, and Seacrest School.
